This project focused on the aerial 3D documentation of St. Varnavas Church in Nicosia, an important modernist building designed by renowned Cypriot architect Neoptolemos Michaelides. The aim was to create a precise and high-resolution digital record of the church’s architectural form and current condition.

Cloudy.Works carried out a full UAV photogrammetry survey, capturing the building’s geometry and surface detail through drone-based high-resolution photography. This approach allowed for comprehensive coverage of the church’s exterior, including its roof and other areas difficult to access from the ground.

From the collected data, we produced:

• A dense and textured 3D photogrammetric model

• High-resolution orthophotos of all facades and roof areas

• A navigable point cloud for spatial analysis and documentation
