The scope of this project involved the precise 3D documentation of Avdimou Mosque, a significant historical religious structure located in the village of Avdimou. The purpose was to capture the mosque’s architectural form, historical significance, and current state of preservation through advanced 3D scanning technology.

Using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS), a high-resolution point cloud was generated to create an accurate digital record of the mosque’s exterior and interior architectural elements. The survey aimed to support heritage preservation efforts by providing detailed data for future conservation, research, and educational purposes.

Deliverables include:

  • 3D point cloud in *.e57 and *.rcp formats with an accuracy within ±2mm for critical architectural details.

  • High-resolution orthophotos of the mosque’s facades.

  • Photographic documentation highlighting the mosque’s current preservation condition.
