Located in the village of Lythrangomi, the Panayia Kanakaria Basilica is a significant 6th-century Byzantine church renowned for its exceptional early Christian mosaics. The basilica originally featured a three-aisled layout with domes and was rebuilt and expanded between the 6th and 12th centuries.
