The project involved the 3D documentation of the Listed Building of the Social Insurance Fund (Ταμείο Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων) using drone-based photogrammetry to support an open idea competition focused on the extension and preservation of this significant architectural landmark. The high-resolution aerial imagery captured via UAV enabled the creation of an accurate and detailed 3D model of the building’s exterior, facilitating thorough analysis of its current condition and spatial characteristics.

The resulting 3D model served as a critical digital resource for architects and designers participating in the competition, providing a precise base for developing proposals that balance heritage preservation with contemporary extension needs. This approach allowed for a comprehensive visualization of the building’s volume, facade details, and surrounding context, enhancing the design process and supporting informed decision-making.
